Muftah
Muftah Dish of the most popular cuisines in the Kingdom of
Saudi Arabia which is considered one of the symbols of generosity among the
people, and often present at events and celebrations such as: marriages, and
other holidays.
Components:
Muftah Dish consist of carcass (lamb) and placed over a
large dish of rice and adorn many spices and boiled eggs, liver and some pasta
and cinnamon and pepper. And contain a lot of fat because fat cooking with lamb
meat.
This method of preparation with photos, cooking time: a one hour and half to about two hours.
Cleaner lamb well washed and hands were separated with the
head. Put in a large saucepan of water to boil and put the lamb
with onions cut section and a number of large cloves garlic. Love and spices (cinnamon - Black Pepper - Cardamom - bay
leaf) and big chunks of green pepper. Leaves on fire some time after it added saffron appropriate
amount, ½ tsp black pepper. When nearly maturity put almost three teaspoons salt or
depending on the size of the Lamb.
After that matures Muftah put in the oven for reddening, and
are then processed rice.
After that Muftah is served with some appetizers and water and soft drinks.
